Hastelloy C22 is also called by another name C22. It is resourceful austenitic tungsten, molybdenum, nickel, and chromium-based alloy. It is having very good resistance ability against crevice corrosion, pitting and stress corrosion cracking. The greater content of chromium is providing very good resistance ability to oxidizing media. The addition of molybdenum is providing resistance ability to oxidizing aqueous media including mixture containing oxidizing acid and nitric acid and wet chlorine. Also, this material is having resistance ability to acetic acid, acid chloride and wet chlorine. Also, it is resisting grain boundary precipitation formations into the weld heat-affected area, making it the right product for use at chemical process purposes into the as-weld situation.
